FAQ

  • Who runs the shop?
You are purchasing a work of art directly from Bernadette Gottlieb's studio in Berlin.
  • What can I buy in the shop?
In the shop there are only works by the artist herself: Risoprints, original drawings and graphic novels, as well as comics.
  • What happens after my order?
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. After that, the artist will sign your work, pack it up and send it to the post office. You will receive a shipping notification once it has been shipped.
  • Shipping
The shipping costs are already included in the price. Therefore none apply.
  • Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards, Paypal and bank transfers are accepted. However, if you would like another payment option, please send us an email and we will be happy to find an alternative option. You will receive a printed invoice with your shipment.
  • What happens to the copyright of the work upon purchase?
By purchasing an artwork, you become the owner of the physical artwork. The copyright remains with Bernadette Gottlieb. You may not reproduce the image without written permission from Bernadette Gottlieb. A license can be purchased upon request.
  • Are the works framed?
Because it is expensive to ship glass frames safely, we only offer unframed works. In addition, it should be mentioned that it is better to decide the framing at the new location of the artwork. I am happy to provide advice via email and photos.
  • Color accuracy of the images in the online gallery?
The images you see in the shop reflect the original as closely as possible. As natural pigments and paper cannot be accurately reproduced digitally, the original artwork may appear slightly different than the digital preview. (The most common feedback we receive from collectors is that the original art they receive appears richer and more nuanced than the digital preview suggests).
  • Return?
We want you to be 100% satisfied and delighted with your artwork. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the artwork within 2 weeks of receipt of the shipment. We will refund you in full once the artwork is undamaged! arrived at the studio. Please inquire beforehand to which address the work should be sent! We will deduct the shipping cost from the refund. Books that are signed, read and used are non-returnable.
  • Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Always! An invoice is included either by mail or in the package itself. This also serves as a certificate for the originality of the work.
